I have also begun a list of 1000 gifts and am reading that book.
I do have to comment about religion, however. There are many, many religions in the world. But none of them will get you to heaven - and heaven is a very real place. There is only one true God, the Creator of heaven and earth. He revelaed Himself through the Bible, He sent His Son to die for your sins and mine, and His Son Jesus went to heaven to prepare a place for you. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the life." And if you don't tell others, how will they know? So hang on to your relationship with Him. It's all about the relationship, not a religion.
Thank you for your thoughts in your blog- may He richly bless you as you name your 1000 gifts and as you learn who He is and how you can glorify Him.krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18371766274422679090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4549794981885625723.post-27734509180470634712011-01-31T23:53:00.802-06:002011-01-31T23:53:00.802-06:00Awesome post! Instead of going to church...you go to a soup kitchen, or a school to volunteer.

God is love, right?

My mom always said church is everywhere...

p.s. love your #7. we are expecting two feet here in chicago!

great post!nicolette {momnivores dilemma}https://www.blogger.com/profile/17056390328286016118noreply@blogger.com
