Along with final reveals... I realized I have never updated any library photos.
I am still wanting to trade out these chairs for a chaise or two... but here is the library in its current state... with stuff on the shelves and furniture and all...
The last update I gave it looked like this. Complete... but very empty
And now... here we are.... with some chairs there (those are temporary) and some things on the shelves. I will admit... I still have a few empty shelves... I am still working on getting enough stuff to fill all of these!
But here it is now... and looks much more lived in :)
Its still a work in progress. I am hoping to trade out those chairs for a chaise or two... and get a rug in there. and yes... those are still my Christmas snow globes. I just left them there ... and keep meaning to pack them up. If I keep going at this rate... it will be Christmas again before I know it...
But at least the room is no longer empty... :)

Final Reveal - Library
The final reveal of the library went up on Sandra's blog last week. If you follow me on Facebook you have seen that I have posted it several times :)
I am so proud of this room. I hated this room when we bought the house. Hated it. Because I could not figure out what to do with it. But Thanks to Sandra it all came together.
It was a lot of hard work. But we learned so much along the way... and I cannot wait to start on more projects ... especially a few more built ins. I think this might be addicting! Ha!
So here is where it started
Boring right???
Terrible carpet... orangeish trim... no purpose.
And here is the after!!!!!!!!
Hop on over to Sandra's page to see the rest of the photos! Follow along on the process Here.

Library Progress Week 2
I have been working on our library project with Sandra from Sawdust girl for a few months now. Well not just me, Me and Jerry. He has been so helpful during all of this.... Soooo ridiculously Helpful.
Our dining room is weird. So, just to give you a little bit of understanding... when you walk into our house... on the other side of the staircase is the dining room. but in front of that... we have this tiny room with a massive ceiling. But it is awkward. I believe they considered it a "formal living room" but its not big enough for anything. So when Sandra put up that she was coaching and designing DIY projects for readers... I contacted her immediately. This project was outside of my comfort zone... and I knew I needed some help.
So after talking with her and coming up with a plan she sent me the plans and I was so excited! This room would finally have a purpose... :)
So for the past few months we have been working on this library project.
On her last post... our library was looking like this.
Pretty rough... now its looking a little more like
